Being DOPE 5-Day Workshop (DeSoto)

📍 Location: DeSoto Parks & Recreation | 211 E. Pleasant Run Rd., DeSoto, TX

🗓 Dates: July 7–11, 2025 (MUST COMMIT TO FULL WEEK)

⏰ Time: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Pitch Competition on 7/10 from 6-8 p.m.)

🎯 Who: High School Students (Grades 9–12)

💸 Cost: FREE (includes lunch, materials, and field trip)

About the Program:

The Being DOPE 5-Day Workshop is an exciting, immersive experience for high school students to explore real-world topics in a way that’s creative, relevant, and impactful.

Throughout the week, students will dive into:

• Financial Literacy 💵

• Job Readiness & Leadership 💼

• Personal Branding & Entrepreneurship 🎨

• Mental Wellness & Identity 💬

• Cultural Expression & Community Engagement 🌍

The program wraps up with a student showcase and a fun field trip, reinforcing DOPE’s belief in learning through education, empowerment, and entertainment.

Why It Matters:

This program is completely free for participants, but it’s full of high-value experiences and mentorship. Students will leave inspired, more confident, and better equipped for the future.
